Whew. Not the best day, not the worst. I am now caught up on the food from the week. I overran my carbs a bit today because of it, but I think we’re good now.
I also really didn’t want to work out today, but I did it because I’m more worried that my weight not lowering (see next post) is going to start to bum me out more than going to the basement for 40 minutes. So, I Just Did It®™ to get my 40 minutes in (see next post) and stopped because it was close to midnight.
I also spent way too much time tweaking my meal plan for the next four weeks (yes, four weeks). I actually had a plan for six weeks because I went grocery shopping on May 06 and was not planning to go again until mid-June. So, I planned out what I was going to eat, and what order so as to use vegetables that would expire first. Anyway, I tweaked and twisted based on trying to more closely hit macros, and I’m probably at a point of diminishing returns now. Two very large wild cards exist that make planning any further in the future very difficult: (1) Getting a new housemate since I have a spare room and she’s getting kicked out of her rental, so she’ll be here for a few months; and (2) I might be driving across the country in mid-June for my mom’s birthday, if she’s not too paranoid about catching COVID-19. The former makes planning hard because she might eat some of what I cook, which throws off meal planning. The latter makes planning hard because whether or not I go will also dictate when I go grocer shopping, and whether I’m cooking that week in June or not.
