Ug… not a great day. It was set to be, but things change. First, it got to be later and the planned beef-stuffed cabbage rolls hadn’t been started, and they take around 2–3 hours to make. So, plans changed and I made chili. Which turned out well. But then required 45 minutes re-planning the next 3 weeks since things shift.
Then, half-way through the chili, so at 9:30pm, I started to feel sick. It wasn’t the chili, there was nothing wrong with it, and the meat certainly wasn’t raw since it had been simmering for over an hour. I tried to lay down for over an hour but my stomach still hurt, so I didn’t / couldn’t exercise (don’t want to be moving and bouncing around with an upset stomach).
I still got my exercise ring because of running around the house earlier, but no exercise didn’t make me happy, especially after what happened Wednesday, and the weight this week (since I’m writing this Saturday) has been stagnant. While I lost a week-to-week average of 1.2 lbs, that’s because last week started high and went down, while this week has just hovered around 217.7-ish lbs. Which also means it’s the first week I did not meet my weight goal of averaging 217.6 lbs. Yes, trivial. Yes, marathon not a sprint. Yes, still annoying. However, I think that this is a good time to remember this:
