On the first day of getting back to things, I almost didn’t work out. When I finally got up the motivation, I went down to move the exercise equipment back onto the exercise mats, and then I realized my watch was dead. So, I read news for 45 minutes while it was charging and then worked out. For the actual weight, I went down to maybe 60–70% of my previous poundage because I’m really hoping to avoid getting DOMS in two days, which would take me out of commission for exercise for at least two days after that.
Food … I, again, almost cheated. I almost didn’t count the potatoes. But I then did, and cut out the cereal and almonds, and that got me within range for everything except carbs. The cake was left-over from last week and really needed to be eaten.
Despite getting nearly 10 hours of sleep, I’ve been very tired for the last few hours and have been practically treading water to stay up long enough to go to bed near my usual time. It’s 11:30pm as I write this, so that’s waiting long enough. I suspect the fatigue is because yesterday I walked for the first time in nearly two months, and then today was the weights.
