Daily Summary: 18 March, 2022

Sleep: Today was decent, I got enough. I did lie down this afternoon for 45 minutes with a pillow over my head and a cat on my arm, but I didn’t actually sleep so I’m not counting that.

Exercise: So, for the last three weeks, my left hip has been hurting. Last night, it was bad enough to the point where any time I stood up from my desk chair, and then took a step putting weight on that leg, I wasn’t sure if I was going to collapse. So, today, I purposely did not do cardio / walk. I wanted to see if a day off would help, and that’s also why my steps are way down. I did manage to get in some core stuff a little before midnight, just pushing to get to 30 minutes of exercise. I did not come close to getting to my normal 720 cal goal, but given I’ve exceeded it every day this week, I lowered the goal on my watch to give myself credit. I think that’s reasonable enough.

Food: I had gotten things well planned out as the end of the week approached, even allowing for these extra things we got at Costco and raiding the freezer for ice cream. Removing planned cereal, and today reducing the side of rice for this evening’s and tomorrow’s Thai basil beef, getting myself back to 99% of my carb goal. Then, I got hungry late tonight and when discussing meals over the next few days with the bf, he said I should eat his remaining left-over jambalaya. So, I had half of that tonight, shooting my calories up. I should still manage to meet my goals for the week, coming in at 104% of carbs (anything <5% over is considered meeting the goal) and 99% of calories, so I’m just perturbed instead of annoyed.
