I’m writing this Sunday afternoon, so I’m going to breeze through things quickly. I got enough sleep, ate a few small things I didn’t track (hence the asterisk on the “cal” in the infographic), but walked a lot: I walked down to the mailboxes, the bf drove down, met me, then I drove back and he walked back.
It was a 472-foot drop down to the mailboxes, over a ≈3 km walk (last ≈km was mostly flat), so this was walking downhill a lot and very steep. Which I’m clearly out of shape for: My calves hurt first, then my knees, then my thighs, then my shins (¿¿¿why???), and when I got to the mailboxes and he wasn’t there yet, I just stopped for five minutes. Then walked around a bit more ’til he got there. Then walked around more after I got back to the house to try to stretch my legs more. And my left hip hurt more during the night. Clearly, I need to work on that more and lose weight, as I strongly suspect that if I weren’t carrying around an extra 50–60 lbs, my legs / hips wouldn’t hurt so much.
So, again because of my hip, I did not do core exercises. No weights.
… So, that’s that.
