
Writing this the day after, I’ll just note on food that I did okay – I did go over my goal but by <5% so it’s fine. Since I didn’t have the chocolate peanut butter bombe, I was able to fill in a nutrition gap with dumplings, something I haven’t done in a few months.
Regarding exercise, I came very, very close to not doing anything. I was still suffering from DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) thru early evening, and my arms still hurt late into the night. And, it got really hot outside. But, I sucked it up and went down to the basement and I even did a 5-minute warmup on the rowing machine. I did that for two reasons: First, I was hoping to loosen up, decrease DOMS, and use it as a bit of a stretch; and second, I had an eye on my Watch rings and knew that I would never fill the move ring if I just did weights. I had also already decided I wasn’t really going to do cardio today. So … that’s that.
