Daily Summary: 20 June, 2020

In the interest of time … food today was practically like the first phase of my cut rather than a maintenance, where I stuck to the meals, had some extra protein, and another slice of my mom’s birthday cake.

I did weights again, this time doing one of the recommended Bowflex circuits though instead of 1–2 sets of 10–15 reps, I did 4 sets of 8 reps for each thing. It was much better than what I tried to do two days ago, and again changing weights is so much easier, but I would see this as something to supplement rather than replace the free weights I have: You really can’t do the same things. So, then the question becomes: Do I want to spend nearly $1000 (on the secondary market) for that? Right now, the answer is “no.” Several hours later, just after sunset, I did some more swimming since I won’t for a long time after this.

I did not walk again, meaning I missed out on some cardio this week, because my foot was hurting. I had a cut on one side of my right foot a few days ago, so I was favoring the other side, but then I developed a large blister on that side. So I’ve been walking around today and yesterday in pain, so I was not going to walk 5k today, especially given the heat and humidity.

And … that’s that.
