Daily Summary: 01 July, 2020

Every single mosquito in the world needs to just drop dead. The ten bites (gained one yesterday) on my feet, ankles, and lower legs are still painful with a sock, or are where the strap of a sandal would go, and two have started to blister over. So today was again no exercise. But, food was okay?

Also, I’m still dropping fat. I did my bodyfat percentage today and it was down again, though the amount of being ahead is down to just a little under 1 week (was 26.1%; goal this week is 26.4%, next week is 26.0%). That means that 92% of the weight I’ve lost has been fat, so, not bad! Weight is finaly back to being on a downwards trend, despite not being able to exercise.

As a tiny bit of motivation, I also worked through my records given that I’ve now lost about 2.5″ on my waist, down to about 41.65″:

  • Minimum since 2019 was 41.0″.
  • Minimum since 2017 was 40.75″ (April 2, 2017).
  • Haven’t been <40″ (measured) since January 2016.
  • Haven’t been <39″ & <38″ (measured) since May 2015.
  • Haven’t been <37″ since June 2014.
  • Haven’t been <36″ since September 2013.
  • Haven’t been ≤35″ since March 2012.
  • Haven’t been <34″ since December 2011.
  • Minimum: 33.00″ on November 20, 2011, and July 13, 2008.

I should hit that first line within about 2–3 weeks, and the next one a week later. Meaning that within a month, I should have erased over 3 years of waist gain, which will also be just under 3 years of weight gain (goal is 205 lbs at that point), and over 4 years of fat gain (should be 24.4% bodyfat, which I haven’t been since January 2016).

So, new mile-markers are coming up, helping with motivation during these troubled times of effing mosquito bites.
