Daily Update: 19 July, 2021

Yay! Two days in a row.

This week, I’m telling myself that the primary goal is to fit within my food box. If I can’t manage that, I can’t lose weight.

So, today (Monday), I again stayed within my food box: 98% of calories, 74% of fat, 103% of carbs, and 112% of protein. Even though it’s 3% over on carbs, that’s 5 gms and it’s in the noise. For me, going over on protein is okay so long as I still am at or under my calorie limit, which I was, so I’m okay going over by 12%. I’m also on track to do well for the week, given what else I have planned to eat (meal-wise and snack-wise).

The scale was also down 1.5 lbs this morning, so, that was also nice!
