
Long day today, despite that I’m going to bed an hour earlier than last night. Only got 7.75 hrs of sleep in, and slept through a two-hour nap late this afternoon. And when I weighed myself before leaving this morning, I was down again, so I’m now –5 lbs since Saturday the 12th, which makes no sense.
I took my car in today to get some major maintenance, and I did NOT give in and eat any of their pre-packaged 280-calorie blueberry muffins. I had my jambalaya I’d brought. The bf met me there and we went to the req center where he swam. I took my computer in, and it was a “Could Not Duplicate Customer Complaint” situation, so we’ll see what happens. Got back to the req center, car place wanted me to text them to authorize >$3k of extra work. Fun times.
I walked outside the req center on the Boulder paths while the bf finished his swim, and then we went to Costco. I gave in and got some chocolate caramels, and we also got some noodles to try. These are basically made (mostly) of a fiber that humans don’t digest, so for 4 oz of noodles, it’s 30 calories and almost all of that is fiber. Tried ’em tonight, and fairly decent, so we might stock up and use them in some traditionally very high-carb dishes we like but I don’t make too often, like, well, pasta with meat sauce, or pad thai.
It was late enough that we just headed home, and then crashed. I made a later dinner, and we watched TV, and now I’m writing this up so’s I can go to bed. That’s why there’s no core exercises in here. Tomorrow, since I have to pick my car up, he signed up for swimming at noon and I’ll walk again (though it’ll be near freezing due to a cold front that came in, but hopefully little snow), then he’ll drop me off at the car place and go home while I wait for my car to finish if it’s not done yet.
All that lovely planning said-‘n’-done, you might notice the asterisk next to calories today. That’s an indicator of a “forgiven” line item that I didn’t list. I very occasionally will do that if It’s a kinda minor thing and I just don’t want to count it. Cheating? Yes. Recorded in my sheet so I could always go back and put it in? Yes. Anyway, today’s was one of those caramel chocolates I mentioned and the bf wanted to get peanut butter -filled pretzels, so I noshed on a serving of those throughout the evening.
