Daily Summary: 29–31 March, 2022

I’m having motivation issues this week with respect to too much of, well, anything. So, Tuesday was the first day of this re-do that I didn’t really do any exercise. Both Tuesday and today, I also moved food around, so that’s why there’s an asterisk on the calories for those two days on the li’l infographics.

I can at least say food-wise that we’ve gotten rid of those two issues (foods) from Costco: The peanut butter-filled pretzels, and the chocolate-covered caramels. Though we did get quite a bit of fruit that I’m now going through and adds pure carbs to the diet, though they are probably a bit better than caramel, chocolate, peanut butter, and pretzels.

The bf decided that, instead of a skillet chocolate chip cookie, he wanted a tres leches cake from Costco for his birthday on Friday. Easier on me, and I was able to find nutrition guesstimates online. With 12 servings in it, we have started to eat it already rather than just stick it all on Friday and thereafter. Glad that I had saved a lot of fat and carbs when I did meal planning this week.

Exercise-wise, I’m still trying to figure out what’s going on with my hip — I think (hope? maybe?) it’s just weight issues. That the joints in general are undergoing too much stress/strain because of my weight and I’m using them more due to all the extra walking I’ve been doing. Hmm … strength training might actually help with that.

The bf also decided to go swimming this morning at 7:15am … I was going to go walking, but it was below freezing, so I just went to work for 45 minutes while he swam. But at least I walked today. So, there’s that.

Oh, and my weight has gone down (so far) every day this week, which is nice.

Well, this post has been a bit more stream-of-consciousness than usual.
