
As I noted in my post yesterday on my birthday goal, I had some trouble focusing yesterday (well, I’ll call it “today” since the subject of this post is the 27th and I’m talking about the 27th), almost certainly due to the bf’s COVID condition and needing to help him with a few things.
However, I’m also trying hard not to “cheat” anymore on my Watch Activity Rings, where I would lower them in order to meet what I actually did that day in order to get the streaks. And it was a royal pain to make incomplete ones on yesterday’s summary graphic. So, I did go out for a few short walks in order to just manage to get my activity ring closed; the exercise ring was closed due to the number of times I went up stairs from the basement to do some work or check on computer runs in the basement.
Food-wise, there is an asterisk next to the calories … I stress-ate a bit but I’m not counting it (but am noting it as an asterisk) I have it tracked, just not in the total, so I can always go back and include it at some point later or for posterity to future generations in 700 years. For the record, I had a few gummi bears and an extra serving of the pasta salad. And when I don’t include something, I do include anything good about it: All of the micronutrients, the protein, and fiber. Leaving out those pesky other things like fat and calories and carbs. That said, writing this in the future (today, the 28th), I can say my weight is down, so … yay.
