Daily Update: 04 September, 2022

First day back.

I went easy on myself, which worked well considering that there were a lot of left-overs from the events before we left. So, a pre-cooked (frozen) turkey burger (no bun), pre-cooked (frozen) tequila-lime chicken, and pre-made (frozen) Chinese chive turnovers were all cooked in a cast iron skillet and comprised a late lunch. Korean fire chicken topped things off in the evening along with some ice cream.

As noted two posts ago, due to the over-eating of the last few weeks, I am restricting calories this week down by about 170, to align with my goal of when I’m down to 190±5 lbs. While I was 20 calories over, that’s just 1%, so I left the font as green.

I did not exercise. I am clearly somewhat depressed, and the motivation to exercise – especially given the >90° temperatures – was simply and completely absent. I did adjust the Watch fitness rings to compensate, and that’s my one cheat for the week.

We’ll see what “tomorrow” brings (in quotes because I’m writing this at 6pm on Monday).
