Monday was a lazy day in that, with all the stuff I had to do the last two weeks, I just had trouble getting the motivation to do much of anything. Be that work, or be that exercise. Also, with the fat in the meals, I had to dig deep into my roulette of protein sources for the lowest-fat option I had, egg whites, in order to get enough protein without going over on fat. I ended the day behind quite a bit for Day 1 for my Apple Watch challenge.

Tuesday was better with food variety (I guess?) and motivation, or at least the amount of work I got done. I’m trying to edit a co-author’s paper, one per day, Mon–Wed this week, and Tuesday was a LONG one. But, I managed to get my exercise in, even though I again really did not want to do weights. The first of the week is just brutal, and I despise deadlifts. But, for some exercises, there’s really no alternative. Deadlifts are one, squats are another. I ended the day only 15 points behind in the challenge.
Meanwhile, my weight is staying steady. Not happy about that. I’m tempted each day to not record it, only to keep reminding myself that Future Me will want the data more than Current Me doesn’t want to see it. I’m nervous about tomorrow’s bodyfat measurement.
