
Alrighty, I’m happier with today than yesterday. Regarding food, there’s no asterisk on the calories, though I will continue to note that the tarts at this point are from Monday. Despite saying he did, the bf didn’t get the ground beef out of the freezer to defrost, so I made a salad for dinner which saved me from being over on my carbs for the day, so I’m fine with that and not spending a half-hour cooking.
On exercise, well, I was either at my desk most of the day or I napped for half an hour. I walked just before sunset when it was still 50% humidity out, and by the time I was done with what I was work-working on at 11pm, I only had 480 calories on my activity ring. So, that required exactly 32 min 30 sec on the elliptical to fill out, which I did, so that’s the longest I’ve been on the elliptical for quite awhile. However, I’m a bit miffed that it took so long to get the needed calories: I’ve gone way down in the last two weeks in terms of calories per minute on the elliptical, from 9.1 last week to 7.7 today. I was planning to spend a month at this intensity level (resistance level) on the elliptical, but I guess I’ll have to go up if this is going to be an efficient exercise method for burning calories.
Regarding sleep, the difficulty falling asleep that I’ve had the last few days has dissipated, at least for now, though I’m still going to bed about 2 hours after I want to be. So, something to work on, though at least I’m still getting at least 8hrs in bed per night.
