Today was a weird day.

I managed to get up at 7:45am after more than 8 hrs of sleep and go for a 16-minute walk. My watch, as it has been the last week or three, gave me the incorrect temperature, so I left thinking it was 68°F. In reality, it was already 76° and got up to 78° in my 16-minute walk. I managed to shower, weigh myself, and take measurements before we needed to leave. I then took the bf to the doctor for a regular appointment, and when I got back, it was already 11:30, so I had my chili.
After that and searching for and booking flights for other stuff, and then cutting mango, it was already 2:00, so I had some zero-sugar zero-fat yogurt I had gotten a few weeks ago to try. Not bad. Not great, but not bad, and at 0g fat, 5g carbs, and 11g protein, a decent snack. I took the bf to a physical therapy appointment which cut out another 1.5 hrs, so when I got back, I set to work making the mango & chicken stir fry and the chicken vindaloo at the same time; I ate the stir fry while still making the vindaloo, then went to the basement to use the elliptical to finish out my day’s cardio while the vindaloo was cooking. Then ate that. Lots of left-overs.
And I fit in my Cheerios® and nuts for snacks towards the end of the day. I had planned to have dumplings to round out the calories for today, but the times I was hungry were times I wasn’t home, so I just cut them out since I didn’t need them for protein because of the yogurt … I just kinda crammed all my food into a few hours of the day. 🤷
And, I’m going to bed early because the bf is finally going to re-start swimming after his COVID recovery, and that’s at 7am tomorrow morning. So, we need to leave the house by 6:15am, and I’ll bike while he swims. I’m debating bringing the scale so I can weigh myself after I’ve sweat out a pound. It’s forecast to be 68° when I would start at 7am, and 75° by 8am when he’s done swimming. Then, we go into my work for doughnuts, meetings, and grocery shopping, and home.
Meanwhile, it’s 5 minutes ’til I need to go to bed … I wrote most of the above several hours ago, and I did a good job actually sticking to it! I also finally printed out a list of all the meals we can make, and he indicated which he was interested in for the next week or so. So I also put together my food plan out through August 01, and so I could also make the grocery shopping list for tomorrow!
So … I guess there are a few good things for today: (1) I got up for a walk before 8am, (2) I ate well within my diet plan, and (3) my weight was significantly lower today than yesterday.
Worst thing from today is that, due to all the interruptions for driving places and cooking, I did almost no work. Again. And I have a conference in three weeks that I need to do two years’ worth of work for.
