
Some setbacks. Mainly on weight. For some reason, weight has been going up the last few days. I don’t know why; my best guess is that I did not properly measure something with the pad kee mao and so I have been inadvertently over-eating. Well, I also didn’t exercise yesterday. Maybe I do know why?
Today was a bit of a “lost day.” Based on when I went to bed, I got up a little before 8am and it was already a humid-hot day. And we needed to leave the house by about 9am for various errands. Shockingly, I actually went to the basement and did the elliptical for 20 minutes before coming back upstairs to get ready to go. And while I thought the bf would be driving most of today so I could get work done in the car, no, it was me who had to drive because he had to get work done for meetings today. So, I sat on my arse for hours today with pretty much nothing to show for it. I also over-did it on the cherries at the end of the day, putting my calories over.
We didn’t get home until about 3:30pm. We put off doing some food and so I made the fire chicken, and I rearranged some other things on the food schedule. I went to lay down for a short bit of time later on, and got up and managed to get in a walk. I had forgotten that I had done 20 minutes on the elliptical, thinking I did only 15, so I walked for 25 to get to my goal of 40 minutes of cardio today. I guess I shouldn’t complain about getting in an extra five minutes of exercise?
But, based on my sore left leg and still some DOMS from the core exercises three days ago, I did not end up going down to lift weights. It’ll now be pushing it quite a bit to try to get weights in three times this week. I’m going to try to get up and do them “first thing” tomorrow. Then Thursday night, then Saturday night. 🤞
